GLYCEROL: A polyalcohol which is used both in the clinical and cosmetic field due to its osmotic properties. It is able to recall water from surrounding tissues, exercising a hyper-hydrating effect. Glycerol also contributes to the external hydration which helps to restore the optimal pH value. TRIPEPTIDE-29: or three-amino acid peptide: It’s a small peptide which is easily absorbed by skin stimulating CD 39 and CD 40 fibroblast receptors, thus increasing collagen and elastin production. A filling and, at the same time, rapid and effective lifting effect. LACTIC ACID: An alpha-hydroxy acid of natural origin able to break the bonds between keratinocytes in the epidermal layer and deeply penetrate into skin. It stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Lactic acid also improves skin hydration by increasing its elasticity and helps restore the correct epidermal pH. LOW AND HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT HYALURONIC ACID: The molecular weight indicates the size of the complex formed by hyaluronic acid molecules. These complexes derive from bonds and secondary interactions between the single molecules. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid acts on the surface; the macromolecular complex binds to dermal proteins and to the epidermal layer forming a film which relaxes the tissue and prevents the water from evaporating the stratum corneum. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper, stimulating the production of dermal proteins and improving tone and tissue elasticity
